Christmas Lunch with the Samaritans
and a thousand more
Christmas 2016
Simply said, it was one of our nicest Christmases. With such a diverse range of folk coming to Newcastle’s Foreshore Park for the Samaritans Annual Christmas Lunch. We were overwhelmed with good spirit, enjoying superbly entertaining, informative conversations while a bevy of helpers made all our wishes come true. There were those living on the street and itinerant folk without family, plus heaps of ordinary folk and families, and all spiced up by multiple groups of new migrants from places like Afghanistan, Macedonian and Iraqi. What a wonderful array of conversations. Geez, it was uplifting. Humans are such complex creatures, most have generous heartwarming souls.
